Abundant white flowers in spring, calyxes turn red in early summer and through to January.
Great cut flower for christmas.
Plant in a well drained soil and full sun position.
Feed well in early spring and then again after flowering. A slow release fertiliser is recommended and regular watering during the warmer months to encourage new growth. ( A 2 year slow release fertiliser tablet is available at the nursery which is particularly beneficial to Ceratopetalum spp.)
