The flannel flower is an iconic Australian wildflower that grows in coastal heath, scrub and dry sclerophyll forest. Shallow rooted, it’s a plant that requires good drainage and grows best in shallow sandy soils. They are great for container gardens, provided they are protected from strong winds.
Feed well in early spring and tip prune after flowering to extend the flowering periods.
