Planning your visit

Sydney Wildflower Nursery is more than just a nursery. We pride ourselves on offering our customers unrivalled customer service and advice within our beautiful native garden displays.

Availability

As we are a retail nursery, we stock an extensive range of Australian native plants and availability changes week to week. If you are looking for a specific plant, or are purchasing in bulk for a landscape order, please call or email us in advance to avoid disappointment. We require at least 2-4 weeks to source plant material that we do not currently have in our nursery.

Recycling

To assist us in reducing waste, we encourage you to bring your own box, plant trays or bags to carry plants home in. We offer a delivery service for larger items but due to covid-19 restrictions we no longer have boxes available for customer use.

Parking / Public transport

We have parking available on-site and ample street parking surrounding the nursery. You may also park at any of the limited free parking areas nearby.

Trains regularly service the nearby Heathcote Train Station – contact Sydney Trains to plan your trip.

Toilets

Public toilets are available for use in the park opposite our nursery.

Nearby cafes

Many of our customers travel from far and wide to visit our nursery! To refuel before your journey home, you can grab an excellent coffee or snack at the Heathcote Bakehouse, lunch at Heathcote Fish and Chips, a pub meal at the Heathcote Hotel or a delightful cafe meal at Smoke and Soda. There is an IGA opposite as well for an on the go drink or snack.

Recommended bushwalks

Heathcote is surrounded by two national parks and a vast array of fantastic bush walks where you can see many endemic species in bloom.

There are many wonderful walks in the Royal National Park and our favourites change from season to season. You can ask our friendly staff for their recommendations, or pop in to the visitors centre at Audley for information on what’s currently flowering where.

To help you plan your visit, you can find some recommended walks at the NSW National Park website for the Royal National Park, and Heathcote National Park.
