Scaevola aemula

Commonly known as the fairy fan-flower this prolific flowering low ground cover probably the most commonly grown of a genus of around 70 species found mainly in Western and Southern Australia.

Flowering through spring and summer this dense ground cover is a wonderful, hardy additional to the native garden, especially suited to cottage style designs. Preferring well drained soil, Scaevola aemula is drought hardy once established but will benefit from extra water during dry times and a good feed in the warmer months.
